4 cups flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 small glass of rum or 1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sweet cream
4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions: Mix these ingredients together real well and make a thin dough. Cut into squares or triangles and make a silt in the center and pull one end thru this silt. Deep fry these in hot shortening until delicately browned. When done and drained, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
